Ready to take off?
Career Day 2021
Are you ready to explore new professional horizons? Are you ready to take off? - Leaving the academic world for a job in business or society? What do you have to consider and how do you prepare for it? At the HHU Career Day, HHU alumni and other guests present their current jobs and employers and share how they got there. Get to know career opportunities outside university, get in touch with the invited speakers and your peers, and get new impulses for your own career!
For a successful career planning, it is important to know your own competencies and to evaluate them. Together, we want to discuss which competencies are required for different professional fields, which competencies you have already acquired during your PhD or your postdoc and how to best use these competencies in the application process. Networking and unsolicited applications as part of a successful application strategy are also focus points at the HHU Career Day. We would like to prepare you specifically for the career planning process and we are sure that your dream job exists and that you will get it.
